Things been pretty quiet round these parts and we’ll apologise for lack of outward communications. Work has been rather busy for me. Mostly our lease is up next week so we’ve done a fair bit of schlepping around with real estate agents looking for a new place.

It’s been a draining exercise and we’ve been gazumped (yes really) on a couple of properties. Our brief was pretty simple 2 bed garden flat around Queens Park, as we discovered probably the type of place which has the most competition especially with spring supposedly around the corner (I’m still waiting!).

Happily we’ve found a lovely place meeting our requirements with a small low maintenance garden (i can bbq finally hooray!) and are moving friday. We only had one viewing late in the evening so hope it’s not a complete dive. Of course the shitter is having to pack everything even worse is the removalists don’t drop the boxes and stuff off until monday (4 days to pack eeck!). It’s been 2 1/2 years here and despite the regular runs to drop stuff off at Oxfam there’s so much stuff to pack and move. I know my record collection has expanded significantly since we’ve been at this place…
