So annoyed with the additional charges that pile on at checkout…
£18 to check in a bag
£6 to check in at the counter (online check-in is not possible for non EU citizens)
£4 to pay via debit card (extra to use a credit card)
These are for return flights but it stings. Also daft is that travel insurance is chosen a default, a few unwitting clicks and you end up with an expensive and unwanted insurance policy. The whole unseated tickets and having to pay for snacks on board is so tedious…

A woman was on the train this morning cutting her toe nails. It was socks and shoes off and nail clippings flying about, an entirely unsavoury affair. The thought of the sound makes my hairs stand on end. People were watching as she went about completely oblivious to the disgracefulness of her actions.
The guy next to her must have nearly had an eye taken out and had some stern words. I think her response was “i have to do this” she was probably right they were kind of long and manky. Personal hygeine? just that, best kept private and off the morning tube…
