After much deliberation and resistance, P will be happy to know I gave in to an iPhone. Primarily cos the Blackberry Bold wasn’t available. In hindsight a wise choice as I don’t care much for work email when i’m not in the office, and it will have been hard to keep resisting ppls requests to get me hooked up (and kill normal internet access). Also the cell phone selection we’ve come across is pretty sucky. Not too happy about being forced into a 2 year plan though. The maps feature is cool for the geographically challenged. Still navigating apps and games available. Almost missed my stop on the way intoday using the NYTimes offline reader. It’s not as clunky to carry round as i’d first thought. It definitely needs a case, why are they all so damn fugly? What next an iMac or Mac Book? black skivvies?

About time! what took you so long?
Screw the case.. it makes it too bulky.
Mostly reluctance to succumb to cult of Apple
Fear of my clumsy ass dropping it or throwing it about really so ended up buying one of these last night… http://www.powersupportusa.com/products/iphone3G_airjack.php
And anyways they fit fine in the baggies that are the fashion here. It’s all the bloody hipsters in skinny jeans that might have probs…
yeah u need a cover in case u drop it….. there is some rubber squared casing that loads of people carry around.
Ooh or maybe a nice leather pouch i can attach to my belt… So wrong! You’re not a tradesman or Batman nothing should be hanging off your belt ;P
